Enrolled Nurse – Medical Ward needed at Joint Medical Holdings

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our Medical Ward team. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Unit Manager to provide direct patient care and assist with the management of the ward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to the Registered Nurse or Unit Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Assist with wound care and dressing changes
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Must be prepared to do shiftwork (Night shift / Day Shift)
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
