Enrolled Nurse X2 -Behavioral Centre -Psychiatric Ward needed at Joint Medical Holdings

PURPOSE OF POSITION

• To Provide age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Practice within your scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Observing, measuring, and recording patients vital statistics and reporting changes in patients conditions to RNs and doctors.
• Providing physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
• Provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.

COMPETENCIES (The following will be advantageous)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

(Educational Qualifications & Experience)

• Matric
• Enrolled Nurse professional Qualification.
• Experience in the psych is essential.
• Preferably have two (2) or more years of experience as an enrolled Nurse.
• Must be prepared to do shiftwork (Night shift / Day Shift).
