Qualifications / Certifications required:

  • NQF Level 7 and above (ZA)
  • At least 2 years experience within consulting, or an industry business analysis/ enterprise transformation/ operating model/ strategy/ fund, project, or programme management role.
  • Ideally an industry recognised project or programme management qualification (e.g., Prince2 / MSP etc.).

Experience required:

  • Experience of supporting delivery of transformation programmes, ideally in the Public Sector.
  • Experience in project and programme management—ideally in a change or transformation environment—including such capabilities in planning, scheduling, and RAIDD management.
  • Experience in business analysis, transformation communications & stakeholder management, and engagement change monitoring.
  • Experience in interpreting clients’ strategic, operational, and external drivers for change into coherent and logic recommendations.
  • Experience in creating high quality visual outputs to communicate status, progress, business analysis outputs, and recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities of role:

  • As a Senior Associate within our G&HI ET team, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience to support delivery of projects that help our clients solve complex business issues and deliver enterprise wide transformation.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Help us to deliver our firmwide purpose of building trust in society and solving important problems.
  • Support the design and delivery of iconic, technology-enabled transformation programmes for some of the largest public sector clients in the UK.
  • Help to grow our multi-specialism Enterprise Transformation team, developing the tools and techniques that will help our clients transform their ways of working and secure better outcomes for the people and places they serve.
  • Support a safe delivery of our engagements through project or programme management techniques incl. risk and issue management, progress monitoring, implementation planning, finance monitoring, and communication & stakeholder management.
  • Create visual and graphic outputs to translate our designs and recommendations into high quality client deliverables.
  • Develop your own business, technical, and global acumen—learn new skills,
  • keep up to date with emerging local, national and global trends, and help us bring the very best of our firm’s diverse and inclusive culture to our clients.
  • Be innovative, take calculated risks, push yourself, and resist the temptation to take the easy option.
  • Be an ambassador for the PwC brand and help us further develop our reputation in the UK and overseas.

Desirable skill sets include:

  • Understanding of transformation opportunities in the Government and Healthcare Industries sector and what the general factors to be considered while conducting complex transformation programmes are.
  • Awareness of how such programmes need to leverage technology and an understanding of different approaches to enterprise transformation.
  • Experience in conducting business analysis and developing requirements across process, people, organisation, operations, and technology and information
  • Ability to articulate the business benefits of transformations and articulate the case for change.
  • Practical and output focussed approach and a desire to make a difference.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create client recommendations and outputs with concise, clear, and coherent messaging.
