Entries Supervisor needed at Bidvest International Logistics

Qualification:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Customs Affairs or equivilant
• Incoterms, VAT regulations & other Government Legislation
• Proficiency on the CW system

Experience:

•  Excellent computer literacy and communication skills
• At least 5 years experience in Customs entries department
•  At least 2 years experience at a Supervisory level
•  Cargowise certified

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising Edi submission (Customs Clerk)
• Provide assistance to the Customs Manager with the daily operations and supervision of staff
• Monitoring permit balances – sending same to clients on a weekly basis
• Liasing with SARS and OGA 
• Reporting of productivity etc on a weekly basis
• Manage and maintain zero tolerance on write-offs with the Customs Department.
