You will facilitate the integration and seamless consumption of risk data from other areas of the bank into ERM and develop a platform to modernise ERM’s risk practices and processes, leveraging integrated data for actionable insights.

Role Purpose:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support ERM’s objectives, translating these strategies into actionable goals, and executing relevant projects and initiatives. You will facilitate the integration and seamless consumption of risk data from other areas of the bank into ERM and develop a platform to modernise ERM’s risk practices and processes, leveraging integrated data for actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize risk processes for risk management, reporting, data insights, and training, enabling process and data efficiency in alignment with the group’s platform strategy.
  • Oversee the adoption, optimization, and maintenance of risk management tools and data capabilities.
  • Assume accountability for information management, including information architecture, metadata, master and reference data, data development and warehousing, content, document and records management, data quality, storage and operations, information security, data privacy management, and analytics practices across the line of business.
  • Drive cross-segment integration between data and analytics to realize the value of data as an asset while meeting business and function-related data and analytics requirements.
  • Lead the prioritization of data and analytics projects and oversee program management capabilities to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Integrate the data and analytics value chain across the relevant line of business, identifying opportunities for shared value.
  • Manage the team in areas of responsibility to deliver against performance targets and achieve broader human capital objectives.
  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovation, and integrated practice solutions information
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels
  • Adaptability to changing workforce trends, including hybrid work models
  • Agile mindset and responsible to quick delivery and turnaround
  • Strives to continuously grow in technical and leadership ability

Qualifications:

  • Fields of study: Actuarial Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Computer and Mathematical Sciences.
