Description
- Ensure delivery arrives at customer within the time slot as allocated by Chief Inspector of explosives
- Safe execution of delivery process
- Adhere to public traffic regulations and CIE regulations (80 km/h speed limit)
- Ensure explosives seals are intact and corresponds to delivery documentation.
- Sign delivery documentation to confirm product has been correctly delivered and obtain customer signature.
- Assist customer in offloading the vehicle.
- Complete full vehicle inspection sheet before departing from Magazines (Daily)
- Ensure vehicle license and explosives Operators card is still valid.
- Ensure fire extinguishers are compliant.
- Ensure proof of delivery is returned to Administration office for customer invoicing.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Code 14 driver’s license with valid category “D” Professional Driving Permit
- At least 2 years’ experience, preferably within a supply chain explosives environment
- Proven experience in explosives product handling and emergency processes (Hazchem)
