Facilities Officer needed at Community Schemes Ombud Service

Description

• Conduct regular inspections and audits on the building and applicable infrastructure
• Provide work schedule according to building and maintenance Plan to ensure enforcement of policy and  procedures for safe working environment.
• Manage and conduct quality control routine checks in compliance to OHSA and all other requisite regulations
• Ensure that the workplace is in line with best practice.

Requirements

• Matric
• Degree and or National Diploma in a building or facilities related field
• 3 – 5 years working experience in facilities/property related field in a corporate/public sector organization.
• Minimum of 2 years at Supervisory level.
• Structural / Mechanical/Electrical/ Civil Engineering degree would be an added advantage.
• First aid and workplace safety regulations
• Financial management and PFMA
• Knowledge of building regulations, electrical installations, HVAC, and emergency standby systems
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and designs
• Project management skills
