Position Summary

Perfection is at the heart of what we do, and our people are always looking for the next big idea to cement our status. We are now looking for a Factory Supply Chain Manager to be based in Mosselbay.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and align the planning (Detailed Production Scheduling and MRP) and Logistics teams in effective application of Best Practices, processes and efficient use of tools, to ensure finished goods are produced and made available based on requested dates and quantities at the right locations at optimized cost. Manage inventory to optimal levels based on targets whilst avoiding out of stocks and redundancy.
- Closely collaborate with Event Management and Idea to Launch teams as needed to ensure timely production and availability of materials.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly and consistently with all the other departments involved (factory and regional teams incl Procurement, DSP, Logistics, Customer Supply Chain, Import/Export and business units)
- Accountable for Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations for
Factory Supply Chain team and warehouses.
- Instill a progressive culture within the Team to be always looking for the continuous improvement opportunities and drive problem solving capabilities
- Develop and lead a team of Supply Chain professionals
Key Metrics:
- Inventory (Stock cover KPI’s, Stock accuracy and freshness)
- Effective detailed production planning (APP/MSA)
- Ensuring supply of finished and Non-finished goods (Service Level)
- Effective supplier performance management (OTIF)
- Effective cost management
What will make you successful?
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ Experience in Supply Chain Management preferably FMCG
- 5-8 years’ experience in planning, logistics and /or warehousing
- Experienced people manager
- Physical logistics management (warehousing, transport) experience
- Experienced with advanced problem solving tools (LEAN, Six Sigma)
- Experience in 3rd Party Management
- Experience in managing complex projects
- SAP experience (DSP/Warehouse modules)
