Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
• At least two (2) years relevant experience in a faculty office or academic/student administration support department
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of the student life cycle and familiar with systems like MAS, Blackboard, APS, as well as ITS, amongst others

Recommendation:

• A relevant National Diploma or equivalent qualification

Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities

• Administration and processing of admission, registration, student records, examinations and graduation-related data
• Assisting with student registration and amendments on ITS
• Identification of graduates
• Processing of applications
• Liaison with internal/external stakeholders
• Render general office administration and maintenance of the filing system
• Accurate records administration
• Database administration, for example capturing of subject weights.
• Receiving, compiling and summarizing all required documents for relevant faculty committee meetings
• Checking for completeness and correctness of relevant documents
• Preparing of templates for submission to Faculty Management and Senex Involved in computation of marks
