Minimum Requirements

• Senior certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification);
• A minimum of 1 year relevant experience; A valid (Code 8) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas

• Oversee the execution of routine activities in respect of crop production; Oversee the execution of routine activities in respect of livestock;
• Oversee the execution of general farm routine activities;
• Oversee the execution of general routine activities in respect of infrastructure and Perform all administrative and related functions.

Competencies

• Knowledge and good understanding of the following: Livestock management record keeping; Technical expertise and knowledge in crop production methods irrigation, planting and fertilization; Infrstructure maintenance Building of new fences and pipelines; Equipment maintenance;
• Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Communication (written and verbal); Staff supervision; Operational management; Problem-solving; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
