MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified diesel mechanic and or trade test certificates advantageous
- Previous Crop (potato & Maize) & Cattle farming experience advantageous but not a priority
- Min of 5 previous years’ experience in similar role
- Proven ability with:
- Welding
- fitting and turning
- assembling
- general mechanics
- Tractors
- Self-propelled sprayer & Irrigation
- Knowledge in repairing Tractor, TLB, Bakkies and ability to work on Plant Machinery.
- Workshop management experience
- Maintenance oriented – general electrical, building, and plumbing knowledge
- Ability to work in dependent and manage a team
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous
- Valid driver’s license
