Finance Lead needed at Snatch.work

• A fast-scaling digital venture studio at the forefront of Web3 innovation is looking for a hybrid Finance Lead to join their team in Cape Town.
• As a Finance Lead, you will take ownership of group-level financial operations, crypto asset management, and strategic reporting, directly supporting the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full finance function across multiple ventures, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management (fiat and crypto).
• Manage crypto asset stewardship, including wallet administration, on-chain reconciliations, and internal control implementation.
• Maintain and optimise financial systems, ensuring clean ledgers, chart-of-accounts design, and workflow integrity.
• Prepare board packs and investor reports: P&L, balance sheets, KPIs, and strategic commentary.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SARS crypto tax guidance, exchange control rules, and global AML standards.
• Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to model tokenomics, monetisation, and revenue share mechanisms.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and external service providers to ensure timely submissions and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CA(SA), ACCA, AGA(SA), or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years post-articles experience, including 2+ years in crypto, fintech, or high-growth digital environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and the cloud accounting ecosystem.
• Technical understanding of digital assets, wallets, DeFi, and blockchain-based revenue models.
• Confident communicator with the ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.
