Role Description

• Financial accountabilities include financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Accountability for Information Technology includes network functionality, security, and suitable hardware and software applications enabling business processes. The role requires an individual with strong financial acumen, embedded information technology systems and security applications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management, growers and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CA/CIMA)
• An MBA will be an advantage
• At least 8 years of post-SAICA article experience

Work Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial and IT management within the fruit industry
• Expertise in reviewing commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and transactions
• Experience with international and local audits, including B-BBEE reporting
• Skilled in managing shareholder and contract accounts (Pools)
• Proven ability to manage teams, including motivation and discipline
