Job Description
- To perform repair, maintenance and breakdown activities where necessary on the plant/s.
- Adhere and uphold all ISO standards as required.
- Uphold and ensure the highest standards of safety.
- Undertake scheduled planned maintenance.
- Building up and repairs to plant and equipment.
- Perform standby duties.
- Work overtime on week-ends, public holidays and during shutdowns as required.
- Comply with Site specific safety regulations, procedures and company rules.
- Comply with relevant safety regulations as prescribed in the OHS act.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric.
- Completed recognised apprenticeship and is a trade tested Fitter.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a chemical, petrochemical or process plant environment.
- Computer literate for planned maintenance system and email.
- Experience in compressors, pumps, motor and gearbox alignment.
- Pump overhaul and replacement, steam plant maintenance.
- Piping, flanges, gasket and valve repair and replacement
