- Grade 12 , National Diploma in Motor Mechanic/Diesel/Petrol or equivalent qualification Plus Trade Test.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 2-3 years’ relevant experience.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders i.e. international clients, service providers. Problem solving.
Duties:
- Management of the workshop. Compile repair and service schedule to keep municipal fleet in an efficient and roadworthy condition.
- Maintenance and repairs of municipal vehicles.
- Engaging outside contractors and service providers for the maintenance of municipal fleet. Staff supervision.
- Monitor individual performance, in accordance with performance objectives
