Basic Requirements:

Formal Tertiary education:

  • Grade 12
  • A degree or diploma in education, technology, project management, or a related field
  • Experience: Prior experience in coordinating educational or training programs is highly desirable
  • Languages: English, (read and write and speak)
  • Drivers Licence: Code 8- (minimum)

Job Objectives:

  • Oversee and coordinate the execution of the Future Industry Talent Program to ensure seamless delivery of all phases (Expose, Certify, Promote),
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including learners, teachers, Digital Learning Officers (DLOs), corporate partners, and the Odin Education team,
  • Drive the achievement of program objectives, ensuring learners’ progress aligns with the goals of digital empowerment, certification, and career readiness,
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on program effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Program Management:

  • Coordinate all program activities, including weekly sessions, workshops, carasel days, mentorship meetings, and Career Day events
  • Ensure the smooth deployment and maintenance of Omang devices and learning platforms
  • Lead the team of Digital Learning Officers who are all working remotely on site at the FIT venues (schools/companies).

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate regularly with learners, parents, DLOs, and industry partners to align expectations and address concerns
  • Collaborate with corporate sponsors and educational institutions to ensure alignment of FIT courses with industry standards.

Administrative Oversight:

  • Maintain accurate learner records, track certification progress, and generate monthly/quarterly progress reports
  • Oversee the scheduling and delivery of instructor-led experiences and self-driven learning sessions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to program timelines and milestones
  • Identify and resolve any technical, logistical, or educational challenges encountered by learners, DLO’s, teachers or corporate partners.

Motivation and Support:

  • Implement and manage the rewards system to encourage learner engagement and mastery
  • Coordinate personalized support for learners, in conjunction with Polelo and the virtual support centre, and mentorship programs.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Evaluate learner feedback and program outcomes to recommend improvements to program design/structure, curriculum content/delivery and learner support
  • Stay updated on emerging 4IR technologies to ensure the program remains cutting-edge.
