Job Description

• Are you passionate about retail? We are looking for an energetic, hard-working team player who loves to learn and be challenged to join our dynamic team. This role will be based at our Head Office in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality control monitoring of goods manufactured at CMTs, and service providers including but not limited to : Cutting, printing, embroidery, pleating and finishing services
• Liaison with Design Division Garment Technologists on quality issues 
• Liaison with Design Division technical teams and operations managers and planners 
• AQL reports and S4 reports
• Reporting and monitoring of all quality issues arising at the factory and the implementation of and measurement of action plans and mentoring/training for improvement.
• Daily reports to Head Office
• Able to manage priority workloads, appointments and schedules

Qualifications and Experience

• Clothing manufacturing experience in a factory environment
• Experience in a Quality Assurance Role at senior auditor/supervisory level.
• Minimum experience 3-5 years in a similar role or level of responsibility.
• Experienced in conducting AQL (Level 2.5 major, 4 Minor) inspections and compiling AQL and S4 reports.
• Code 8 Drivers licence
• Basic computer literacy and excel skills an advantage.

• IT competence - Basic Microsoft office skills including Outlook, Excel Word

• Ability to work independently
• Ability provide feedback
