General Worker Job at RCL Foods

• RCL Foods is recruiting for a driven, highly energized and operational focused General worker within the baking business unit.
• The suitable candidate will be responsible to drive promotional truck or other vehicle over planned routes or within an established territory as per planned activation schedule. 
• This role will be based in Durban and reporting to the Production Manager.
• This role is a Fixed Term contract.

Minimum Requirements
Education and Qualification

• Matric

Experience and Training 

• Basic baking exposure and Loading exposure
• Previous manufacturing and bakery experience an advantage

Duties & Responsibilities

• Do operational Start up checks as per Operational Checks SOP
• Report any irregularities/issues to the team leader
• Report any breakdowns or machine issues at start up, during the day and end of shift to team leader
• Ensure all equipment and utensils are looked after and managed as per Utensils and equipment management SOP
• Work in accordance with all company standard operating procedures
• Ensure at the end of each shift before leaving the department, the area is clean and tidy.
• Ensure before leaving your work station, a handover is conducted with the next shift.
• Adhere to ‘clean as you go’ principles
