About the Role
This highly analytical role supports the monitoring and assessment of global security threats and political risk data. Utilizing AWS for large-scale data processing and specialized intelligence tools, the intern ensures compliance with rigorous reporting standards. Their work is pivotal in mitigating operational risk for international corporate clients by providing real-time data-driven insights on emerging global crises.
What You Will Work On
- Assists with data collection under the direction of the Product/AI liaison lead
- Review and distribute high-volume tactical data to the client base

What You Will Bring
Education Requirements
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or PhD program or have graduated – International Relations/Political Studies
Work Experience
- Experience with data, AI, and computers, with attention to detail in any capacity
- Training and/or work experience in safety, security, risk management and/or geopolitical/international relations is a plus
Skills
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to relate complex information to consumers and lay persons rapidly and accurately
- Accurate representation of events in the form of written and oral communication
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and directives while also participating in a team environment
- Basic Microsoft software skills to include Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Outstanding research skills using open-source information available by web, in print, or from research institutions
Career Growth & Education
A degree in International Relations, Political Science, or Security Studies is the required academic foundation. Successful interns often progress to Intelligence Analyst or Risk Consultant roles within global security firms.
