Graduate Programme: Grain 2026 needed at OVK – Group

Minimum requirements:

• A Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing/ Agricultural Economics with Risk Management and Accounting, as well as Industrial Engineering;
• SAFEX qualification will support application;
• An interest to work in an Agricultural environment, specifically Grain.

Skills:

• Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Computer literate ( MS Office), strong excel skills;
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Numeracy, accuracy and precision essential;
• Good interpersonal and conflict management skills;
• Must be able to function independently and under pressure;
• Good organisation and prioritisation ability.

Responsibilities (Subject to change depending on qualification and job description):

• Assist staff with regard to the reconciliations that do not balance (including inventory, receivables, payables);
• Dealing with deviations;
• Compilation of income statement analyzes and variance reports;
• Liaison with internal and external customers;
• Ensure completeness of purchases and sales contracts;
• SAFEX trading and reconciliations;
• Inventory confirmations;
• Implementation of measures to improve productivity and work procedures at Silo’s;
• General administration.
