Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
• Tertiary qualification in Graphic design

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a digital designer within social media, EComm and direct marketing capabilities. Preference to retail experience
• DTP (Desktop Publishing) capabilities
• Apple Mac proficiency
• Design program knowledge proficiency (Adobe Illustrator / InDesign / Photoshop / CorelDraw)
• Proficiency with ECommerce platforms e.g. Shopify and EComm merchandising requirements e.g. product photography, deep etching.
• Creative flair
• Trend awareness including fashion, product, content creation
• Competencies: Planning, Presenting, Result-oriented, Cooperation, Creating Support, Assertiveness, Service Orientated, Helicopter view
• Knowledge of marketing, advertising and understanding of Document Design
• Ability to Manage Own Workload and Timelines 
• Excellent Administration skills

• Mid to Advanced MS Excel Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Create digital content for social media, direct marketing, and other digital media platforms.
• Capability to grasp digital/CRM platforms like SalesForce, Brandwatch, and Google     Analytics.
• Proven ability to produce MP4 videos for YouTube, Reels, Stories, and other platforms.
• Familiarity with digital platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Compilation of Monthly Bulletin
• Experience and clear understanding of print and digital guidelines
• Must be able to interpret briefs and come up with creative concepts for both digital and print platforms including DTP and below the line executions.
• Keeping budget, time and production constraints in mind. 
• Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions.
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
