Group Finance Manager needed at Robert Walters

About the Role

• We are looking for an experienced and proactive Group Finance Manager to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across their global entities.
• This role involves managing the full spectrum of financial activities, including monthly accounts, tax, audits, and treasury, while building scalable systems to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Management Accounting & Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities; drive month-end and year-end close processes.
• Financial Operations: Oversee payroll, AP, and AR processes; manage financial operations in Xero; oversee treasury functions.
• Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit regulatory returns; manage tax compliance; coordinate annual tax filings.
• Audit & Financial Controls: Lead annual audits; ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Support the COO in financial reporting and forecasting; conduct variance analysis; develop management reporting.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Support system enhancements and group restructuring; contribute to process automation.

Capabilities & Experience:

• Fully qualified accountant (CA(SA))
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualified experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Xero or similar systems.
• Comfortable working independently.
