What will you do?
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Proof reading and completing job requisitions on myWorkSpace
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition team on all recruitment
- Conduct and facilitate interviews
- Obtain approval for special contractual arrangements
- Compile motivations for special contractual arrangements
- Complete and issue manual dummy payslip and letter of appointment
- Perform on-boarding of new employees via myWorkSpace (SAP Success Factors)
- Facilitate on-boarding plan with line manager within the SIG employee experience framework
- Follow up on queries with payroll relating to new staff
- Ensure that all new employees’ outstanding documents are submitted to payroll within one month post the start date
- Manage end to end process of internal staff transfers and secondments
- Conduct exit interviews
Talent Management
- Ensure alignment with talent framework, policies and processes
- Facilitate talent review sessions with junior and middle management
- Caputuring talent and succession date on MWS (SAP Success Factors)
Learning and Development
- Query handling from line managers and employees and liaising with the Learning and Development team, as required
- Facilitate career conversations as required, follow up on scheduled training, suggest training interventions to support career development goals. Manage training administration processes.
Performance Management
- Drive continuous adoption of performance and goals
- Ensure that all employees have measurable goals in place and assist with the formulation of goals, as required
- Ensure that all employees have completed mid-year and year end performance reviews
- Assist line managers with poor performance improvement processes
Remuneration
- Request and provide remuneration benchmarking information, when required
- Facilitate mid year benchmark review discussions
Industrial Relations
- Understand and apply the relevant legislation, policies and procedures (e.g. SIG ER Policy, BCEA, LRA)
- Assist line managers and employees with the interpretation and the administration of any IR/ER issues, e.g. disciplinary and grievance procedures.
General HR Admin
- Query handling from line managers and employees
- Drive adoption of HR technology towards self-service for line managers and employees
- Administration and facilitation of changes to employment contracts
Executive Personal Assistant
- Provide Executive level Personal Assistant support to the Chief Human Capital Officer, which includes the following:
- Diary Management
- Travel arrangements
- Expense reimbursement
- Drafting internal communication
- Compilation of reports i.e. report writing, formatting
- Compile, draft and format PowerPoint presentations
- Drive Human Capital EP!C committee
Minimum requirements
- Matric and relevant HR qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar role, inclusive of Executive PA support
- Financial Services experience will be preferable
- Success Factors / SAP experience will be preferable
- Excellent computer skills with proven proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
