What you can look forward to as Head of Aftermarket Africa (m/f/d):

  • Drive the sub-region to achieve or exceed ZF Aftermarket strategic and operational goals and targets within Africa
  • Develop the leadership team ensuring team cohesion and collaboration across all Sub regional functions and locations to achieve or exceed the targets
  • Design and implement customer- and product specific strategies for African accounts – in collaboration with Business Lines
  • Ensure effective customer coverage and efficient usage of resources across all Business Lines and functions in the Sub-Region
  • Design, implement and monitor the best performance measurements enabling financial and commercial performance in line with Plan as well as risk anticipation and mitigation
  • Drive successful delivery of key projects in the sub-region, incl. structural adjustments, synergy creation and business transformations
  • Develop robust networks with ZF peers and industry associations in the sub-region, promote best practice sharing and collaboration; position ZF Aftermarket as a reliable partner
  • Represent ZF Aftermarket in front of respective unions and focused ZF Group functions as well as ensure deployment of internal communication initiatives across all locations
  • Act as main point of escalation for external (All African customers) and internal topics in the sub-region as well as become the face of ZF in the region to encourage strategic dialogue & Partnerships

Your profile as Head of Aftermarket Africa (m/f/d):

  • Successfully completed university degree in engineering, economics or comparable qualification
  • Deep understanding of Aftermarket business across all segments and of OE as well as OES business across all segments
  • Deep understanding of Political, social and economic development in Africa to mitigate risk and drive profitable growth with the right and relevant market offering
  • Robust network/credibility with associations, customers and ZF unions as well as experience in negotiation with unions
  • Proven ability to lead in complex matrix organization, strong relationship, management and influencing skills
  • Sound financial acumen to drive full channel profitability, transformational mindset and key role player / participant in industry governing bodies
  • Collaborative leadership to drive efficiencies and positive staff performance
  • Strategic mindset to translate IMEA developmental requirements into KPIs
  • Ensure good corporate governance principles according to the relevant markets
  • Willingness for travel
