Head of Middle School needed at ST Peters Preparatory Schools

Duties (not an exhaustive list):

• Class Teacher for either Grade 3 or 4
• Lead and inspire a team of teachers to create an engaging and innovative middle school curriculum that promotes academic excellence and personal growth – values based
• Continuously evaluate and improve the middle school curriculum to align with best practices and emerging educational trends
• Oversee the budget for the middle school, ensuring efficient resource allocation to support pupils needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive culture that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and the broader community to create a supportive and nurturing environment for pupils
• Mentor, support and develop intern teachers
• Participate in extracurricular activities as required
• Promotion of the St Peter’s Prep Schools attributes and values
• Teach according to the St Peter’s Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Class Teacher
• Experience in teaching Grade 3 or 4 will be advantageous
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a Leadership role
• SACE Registration
