KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receives and collates risk related documents
- Safecyte administration tasks on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Batches and completes control sheets
- Files all documents specific to health and safety requirements
- Prepare for risk and site audits
- Physical checks to ensure risk compliance
- Assist with Facilities duties in the absence of the Facilities and Warehouse Manager
- Hands-on maintenance tasks
- Assists with general clerical duties
- Perform ad hoc functions in operations as and when required
- Perform procurement functions as and when required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Post Matric Certificate/Diploma Office Administration/Health & Safety Management. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 3 years clerical/administration experience
- Excellent command of the English language
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be professional at all times
- Must be highly computer literate
- Must be proactive
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Driver’s license Code 08 would be advantageous
