Responsibilities: 

• Develop, implement and improve the health and safety plans, programmes and procedures in the workplace.
• Carry out regular inspections of equipment to identify hazards and risks that can impact workplace and food safety and take appropriate action to ensure compliance.
• Respond to and investigate concerns and complaints from employees and take appropriate action.
• Investigate accidents and incidents that occur in the workplace, establish root causes and recommend remedial action.
• Drive PPE compliance through line management.
• Coordinate all safety training required by the organization.
• Establish and coordinate the health and safety committee with the appropriate members and numbers of representatives.
• Discuss, report and keep records of safety related incidents.
• Support environmental audits in the identification of risk and providing reports and recommendation
• Advise on legislation and make recommendations related environmental risk.

Requirements: 

• Btech: Environmental Health or related qualification.
• 4 Years Experience in a health & safety role in operations, FMCG will be advantageous .
• Audit experience in an integrated SHE Programme.
• Knowledge & Implementation of the ISO Management system
