Home School Teacher | Northcliff | R18 000 – R20 000 per month needed at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for a QUALIFIED INTERMEDIATE PHASE TEACHER for their son in Grade 4 (2026)
• Area: Northcliff 
• Ages: son in Grade 4 (2026)
• Working hours: Monday – Friday: 08h00 – 15h00 
• Duties: Tutoring in all Grade 5 subjects, developing academic milestones for age appropriate and educational engagement, ensure that required concepts are grasped, understand principles of the work, ensure understanding of the the curriculum while developing age and grade specific literacy, numeracy and life skills. Engage in age appropriate and educational stimulation, preparing the children and their skill sets for their ages for future schooling enrollment. Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Be available for morning hours: 08h00 – 11h00 for teaching and 11h00 – 12h00 for planning the next day, Monday to Friday, and extra Murals three times a week from 12h00 -15h00.
• Requirements: Female candidate aged 28 years old and older, MUST have a qualified in Intermediate Phase, prior Montessori experience would be beneficial to understand the Montessori philosophy and can provide a nurturing, structured learning environment for young children, non-smoker
• Start date: February 2026 start – permanent contract
• Salary: R18 000 – R20 000 per month (gross, before deductions) +SARS rates per km 

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
