  • Ensure that the hospital’s client-centric approach meets and exceeds patient expectations.

  • Oversee the hospital’s maintenance program, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
  • Collaborate with the Group HR Manager on staff management, including recruitment, training, performance management, and labour relations.
  • Uphold quality client service by managing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Work closely with the Group Nursing Services Manager to maintain a therapeutic and safe patient environment, adhering to health, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Regularly report on all hospital operations to the Group Operations Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current registration with SANC.
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing; specialisation in Theatre technique is an advantage.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the healthcare environment, with at least 3-5 years in Theatre.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a Junior or Middle Management role.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required by the hospital.
  • Strong ability to identify, prevent, and report medico-legal risks and adverse events.
  • Basic knowledge of stock control principles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of nursing activities and procedures within the Scope of Practice.
  • Collaborative team player with a cooperative work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain professional and respectful work relationships.
