Job Description :
- The purpose of this role is to support HR Teams in executing the people agenda and to ensure the business is promoting equity in the workplace. This will include administering local strategic initiatives and managing HR compliance controls.
- Point of contact for people-related queries and processes.
- Provide support and advice on people policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support on the ground onboard of talent to the business.
- Support HR business partners with talent review process, wellbeing initiatives, and global initiatives rollout.
- Manage any First Point related queries.
- Ensure critical controls are in place for HR compliance.
- South Africa – manage Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) documentation and verification process.
- Define, establish, and lead the Employment Equity Initiatives within DSA
- EE related consultations and implementation of initiatives to drive and support attainment of EE Strategy and Targets.
- Keep track of engagements in accordance with EEA and EE Strategy.
- Legislated forum meetings: Preparation of EE reports in EEA formats including leading meetings of annual EE Annual submissions with Capability Managers, HRP and HR Director.
- Perform operational duties to fulfil EEA requirements of reporting, analysis, insights, and Functional Targets.
- Liaising and partnering with HRBP’s on development plans to support, impact and drive the success of our EE targets and strategy.

- Custodianship of EE data in accordance with the EEA.
- Tracking employee movements and workplace profile statistics.
- Ensuring reconciliation of data with various systems for accuracy.
- Advising and influencing functional People leaders of EE status and gaps.
- Manage relationships with Department of Labour by Reporting, keeping abreast of new developments, advising, and partnering with business and implementing new requirements
- Compilation of business employment equity targets and reports.
- Compile Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Plan for all entities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree in a relevant field HR, Labour Relations, or Industrial Psychology
- 3+ years of functional HR experience
- Strong coordination, organisational, reporting and analytics skills.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Has an acute focus on performance and results, is highly accountable, problem-solvers, and determined to win.
- Demonstrates pace and urgency, responding quickly to challenges and opportunities.
- Personally resilient – able to maintain emotional balance under pressure and high-performance expectations.
- Change agent—Leading change—is courageous in thinking about what is possible and has a track record of leading transformation.
- Adept at building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- knowledge and application of the Skills Development Act; Employment Equity Act and advantageous to have demonstrated experience in NQF Act, BBB-EE Act, BBB-EE Codes of Good Practice.
- Fundamental Project management experience- good with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power Point skills.
