  • This role will be based in Durban or Gauteng. 

Minimum Requirements    
What you need:

  • Degree or equivalent in Human Resources
  • Must be in a Senior HR role with at least 8-10 years’ experience
  • Experience in managing a team with a strong understanding of talent acquisition, talent management and D&I.
  • Experience within an FMCG / multinational will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., SAP & Workday) and data analytics tools

Duties & Responsibilities    
What You’ll Do:

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute a talent strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Lead the talent acquisition function working in close collaboration with Business Leaders to support them in shaping their acquisition strategies.
  • Benchmark and design best in class acquisition strategies, processes and systems in partnership with business.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilizing analytics to assess recruitment metrics, identify trends, and refine strategies for better outcomes. 

Talent Management

  • Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.
  • Develop talent management frameworks, which is aligned to the business strategy.
  • Partner with Business Leads to ensure that there is clear succession planning for all scarce and critical roles.
  • Drive implementation of key initiatives and programs within the Talent space.
  • Provide data analytics and insights to enable the business to make informed Talent decisions.
  • Developing effective strategies for identifying skills gaps within the workforce.
  • Understanding the current recruitment trends and your organisation’s markets to identify the impact upon the business.

D&I

  • Drive DEI programs that create an inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to embed DEI.
  • Use data-driven insights to measure impact and continuously improve initiatives.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to build a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Develop and implement D&I strategies aligned with the business goals.
  • Lead diversity training and awareness programs to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with HR, leadership, and employee resource groups to embed D&I principles in hiring, promotions, and retention strategies.
  • Analyze workforce demographics and D&I metrics, using data-driven insights to identify gaps and track progress.
  • Advise leadership on inclusive policies, equitable hiring practices, and bias reduction strategies.
  • Stay up to date on D&I trends, legislation, and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.
