MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • A diploma/degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification will be beneficial
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR functions, principles, and best practices.
  • Reliable and responsible work ethic.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and deal with urgent matters promptly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to use initiative and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must ideally reside in the Roodepoort area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts by coordinating job posting internally and externally on the relevant resourcing platforms
  • Reviewing and sending resumes and provide shortlists.
  • Scheduling interviews and facilitating communication with candidates and managers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new employees, including paperwork completion and orientation scheduling.
  • Draft and implement checklist systems to ensure all bases are covered and according to auditable standards
  • Facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Handle HR administration tasks, such as preparing employment contracts, job descriptions, offer letters, and HR reports.
  • Sending daily approvals to divisional executives.
  • Capturing of employee data.
  • Follow up on outstanding documents necessary for new employee.
  • Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
  • Assisting with intern/learnership programmes where necessary.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Provide necessary admin support to management.
  • Filing of documents
  • Any ad hoc responsibilities as and when required.
