MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- A diploma/degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification will be beneficial
- Clean criminal record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge and understanding of HR functions, principles, and best practices.
- Reliable and responsible work ethic.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise and deal with urgent matters promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure, to use initiative and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must ideally reside in the Roodepoort area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
- Assist in recruitment efforts by coordinating job posting internally and externally on the relevant resourcing platforms
- Reviewing and sending resumes and provide shortlists.
- Scheduling interviews and facilitating communication with candidates and managers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new employees, including paperwork completion and orientation scheduling.
- Draft and implement checklist systems to ensure all bases are covered and according to auditable standards
- Facilitate the onboarding process.
- Handle HR administration tasks, such as preparing employment contracts, job descriptions, offer letters, and HR reports.
- Sending daily approvals to divisional executives.
- Capturing of employee data.
- Follow up on outstanding documents necessary for new employee.
- Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Assisting with intern/learnership programmes where necessary.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provide necessary admin support to management.
- Filing of documents
- Any ad hoc responsibilities as and when required.
