Description
PURPOSE

  • An exciting opportunity exists to support the Tailings Division’s operations through efficient human resources (HR) management delivery including planning, employee relations, human resources policy implementation and all other programs and projects.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • HR Policies and Procedures
  • Provision of end-to-end HR policies and procedures, interpretation and advice
  • Socialisation, onboarding and execution of policy and governance provisions
  • Monitoring compliance to minimise deviations and reporting
  • Alignment of divisional practices to strategic goals
  • Recruitment Selection and Deployment
  • Execution of recruitment processes in line with the workforce plan
  • Provision of end-to-end talent sourcing, acquisition and retention
  • Onboarding and induction of all employees for success in line with the company’s value proposition
  • Reporting
  • Delivery of key reports and HR metrics on a monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis
  • Discipline/Grievance Management
  • Ensure timeous management of grievances and disciplinary inquiries
  • Provision of advisory and dispute resolution service to all employees
  • Representation of company at CCMA/bargaining council
  • Communication
  • Convene site partnership communication/meetings/forums
  • Management of records of proceedings of all meetings attended
  • Act as a change agent
  • Communication of divisional key messages including organisational culture initiatives
  • Administration
  • Timeous execution of all administration related activities including internal audits
  • Ensure proper document control
  • Performance Development and Talent Management
  • Facilitation of the Divisional performance development and talent management processes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree:  HR / Social Sciences / Industrial Psychology
  • Post-graduate / Honours preferred
  • Registration with SABPP / HPCSA advantageous

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 6 years’ hands on HR operations
  • Experience in mining / production environment will be advantageous
  • Proven track record of successful HR projects delivery
  • Solid knowledge HR systems (HRIS)

  • Functional knowledge of labour legislation and policy interpretation
  • Advanced computer literacy

  • Solid track record of HR operations project delivery
