HSE Trainee/Intern needed at Faurecia

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

• The HSE Graduate is responsible for guiding management regarding HSE processes and requirements to ensure legal compliance per legislation and the application of the Group’s HSE policy and procedures.
• Conduct internal HSE measurements, inspections, and audits to analyse the site’s risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions; the level of industrial safety; and respect for the environment.
• Propose and annual HSE action plan to the Site Management.
• Coach and support the plant management and deploy in HSE practices and requirements.
• Participate in Faurecia’s HSE network and deploy all HSE Standards within the organization.
• Monitor and ensure implementation of legal compliance and manage the site’s relations with local government and regulatory organizations.
• Monitor the reporting of HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data,…).
• Organise and drive HSE audits and trainings.
• Perform accident/incident investigations.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Bachelor of Science or relevant National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management.
• Knowledge and experience in automotive environment.
• Knowledge of HSE tools and methods : AMDEC, 5 why methodology, job instruction, audits, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Knowledge of legal requirements.
• Competency in MS Office;(Excel & Word)
• South African citizens
