- A core component of the role is driving system-related change initiatives, requiring strong change management capability to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and enhancements across the organisation.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- 5–7 years’ experience in HCIS administration or HC systems support
- At least 5 years of experience using SAGE and other Human Capital systems.
- Proven experience in change management initiatives and system implementations.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Capital, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

- Strong understanding of Human Capital processes (core HC, payroll interfaces, talent management, learning management).
- Experience in HCIS configuration, workflow automation, and system optimization.
- Data management skills including auditing, validation, and ensuring data integrity.
- Numeracy and analytical ability for report generation, data interpretation, and system analysis.
- Ability to generate and interpret reports using BI and analytics tools (e.g., Qlik sense).
- Knowledge of system security, access management, and digital compliance requirements.
Professional Competencies:
- Intermediate professional-level expertise with SAGE and other HC systems.
- Ability to translate business and Human Capital needs into system requirements and configurations.
- Strong training and user enablement capability, including developing materials and facilitating sessions.
- Sound understanding of project coordination principles, especially related to system implementations, upgrades, and change initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities
System Administration & Configuration
- Configure and maintain core HCIS modules, workflows, and approval chains.
- Manage system security roles and user permissions.
- Support implementation and configuration of new HC technology tools.
- Customize employee and manager self-service portals.
- Manage modules such as LMS, performance management, and onboarding.
Data Management & Integrity
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and consistency of HC data.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
- Support data migration and validation during system updates.
- Maintain high standards for data quality and compliance.
User Support & Enablement
- Serve as the primary contact for HCIS queries.
- Deliver training, user guides, and support sessions.
- Gather user feedback and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate where necessary.
Process Support
- Assist with the design and automation of core HC processes (onboarding, offboarding, job changes).
- Conduct process mapping to identify opportunities for digital optimisation.
- Support standardization and harmonization of HC workflows.
Reporting
- Generate accurate standard and ad-hoc reports.
- Support HC Analytics with data extraction and verification.
- Ensure data readiness for business decision-making.
Collaboration
- Work closely with IT on integrations, upgrades, and system security.
- Partner with HC Business Partners to understand requirements and provide system solutions.
Change Management
- Lead and support change management activities related to HC systems and processes.
- Develop and execute communication and change adoption plans for system updates or new modules.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth transitions and high user adoption.
- Facilitate training, demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing to support change readiness.
- Monitor system adoption and leverage feedback to refine rollouts and improve user experience.
- Promote a culture of digital enablement and continuous improvement across the HC function.
