Requirements:

  • A recognized three-year National Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Computer Science /Information Technology/Information Systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in public sector ICT technical support.
  • Knowledge of different Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365, including Microsoft Teams and One-drive.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft e-mail system, Mimecast email archiving and security system, Service Manager and Server Virtualization.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Experience in Microsoft technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of anti-virus systems and operating system updates.
  • Experience in hardware and software deployment, configuration and support.
  • A valid Drivers’ license.

  • Proactive LAN and WAN management and support. 
  • Systems administration and support. 
  • Backup and Recovery maintenance and support. 
  • Network and Server Security Management. 
  • Support of all hardware and software systems. 
  • Implementation and monitoring of ICT infrastructure support processes and procedures. 
  • Implementation and monitoring of ICT projects. 
  • Compiling monthly infrastructure reports.
