Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in Library and Information Science or B.Bibl Degree
- Ideal: Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) or Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in Library and Information Studies. An English major will be an advantage.
- Legal: Professional registration with Library Information Association of SA (LIASA)
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
- Industry experience or subject matter expert in an academic library setting
- Experience in use of Information Centre Databases
- Experience in tracking of Book Orders and Journal Subscriptions
- Referencing and Plagiarism
- Digital Literacy and Information Fluency
- Must be competent in Information Centre Administration, Provision of information services and general administration.
