Instrumentation Technician – Mining Industry – R600k – R450k needed at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of engineering knowledge to maintain typical instrumentation equipment: Crushers, vibrating Screens, conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, slurry and process water pumps, sample cutters, degrid cyclones, vibrating and apron feeders, hydraulic drives and power packs, Dust suppression and extraction, radio networks, two-way radio’s, networks, Minestar, mining and laboratory equipment, condition monitoring, Loadout stations, weighing equipment, PLC Systems, SCADA systems, optic fibre cables, systems
• Process flow and instrumentation diagrams of the following production processes: Primary and secondary crushers, overland conveyors and ROM stacking, on-grade wash & screening, off-grade wash & screening, beneficiation, high pressure roller crusher, product conveying & stacking, Jigs, Load-Out, process water & slimes handling, sewage plants, asset management; EAMS strategy and business processes
• Management knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• National Diploma: S4 or T3 or N6
• Trade Test in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Technician
• 5 – 8 years operational engineering experience as a qualified Instrumentation Technician in an automated plant environment
• Medically fit
• Meet required medical fitness standards
• Driver’s license
• Valid Code B driver’s license
