About the Role

Supporting senior advisors, this role involves managing client documentation and ensuring that insurance portfolios are processed with high data accuracy. Utilizing Salesforce and specialized ServiceNow workflows, the assistant maintains compliance with FAIS and FSR Acts, reducing operational risk for the firm. Their contribution ensures that client service remains seamless and that all administrative tasks support the firm’s growth and reputation in the wealth management sector.

Job description:

  • To provide underwriting assistance to the Advisers. The position will focus on personal and commercial lines business.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients
  • Preparing quotations for new and existing clients
  • Issuing new policies, renewals and endorsements
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Recording details and information on the relevant systems

Minimum requirements:

  • Completed BCom Degree (Preferably majoring in Information Systems, Analytics and Investment Planning/ Risk Management) or BCom (Economics) / NQF4/5 Short Term Insurance
  • No More than 2 Years experience in the financial services industry
