What you’ll do:
- System Integration Development:
Design, implement, and maintain integration solutions using middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Zapier, etc.), APIs, and other technologies to connect disparate systems. - API Management:
Create, maintain, and optimize RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable integrations. - Middleware and Data Transfer:
Utilize middleware platforms for data transformation, mapping, and transfer between systems, ensuring data integrity and security. - Troubleshooting and Debugging:
Identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to system integrations and ensure root causes are addressed. - Collaboration with Stakeholders:
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., developers, product managers, operations) to gather requirements and provide technical expertise on integration solutions. - Documentation and Best Practices:
Document integration designs, workflows, and procedures. Maintain best practices in data management, data integration, and API usage. - Data Security and Compliance:
Ensure that all integrations adhere to security and compliance standards, safeguarding sensitive data. - Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and accuracy before deployment. - Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitor integrations in production environments, maintaining system health and performance, and making necessary adjustments as required
Your expertise:
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a systems integration role.
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Talend).
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud-based integration solutions.
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in middleware technologies and API development.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Soft skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of security protocols and encryption methods for data transmission.
- Certification in relevant integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer).
