Interior Designer & Showroom Manager Job at West Coast Personnel

• An opportunity is available for an experienced Interior Designer & Showroom Manager with a background in luxury furniture, home décor or lifestyle retail.
• This combined design and management role focuses on providing personalized design consultations, building strong client relationships and driving sales, while overseeing daily showroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Provide tailored interior design advice to clients, architects and interior designers.
• Build lasting customer relationships and close high-value sales.
• Manage daily showroom operations, including stock control, point-of-sale systems and inventory audits.
• Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards and coordinate seasonal showroom updates.
• Recruit, train and motivate sales consultants to deliver exceptional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail store management experience.
• Experience in luxury furniture, home décor or lifestyle retail is essential.
• A formal qualification or strong proven background in Interior Design, Architecture or Visual Merchandising.
• Proven ability to close high-value sales and manage customer relationships.
• Strong computer literacy, including Excel and POS systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
