About The Role

This technical role supports new and existing projects that are required to be executed within set deadlines. It is essential that you are able to effectively collaborate with a number of internal stakeholders across a variety of departments. The following describes your responsibilities.

1. Assist in designing, researching, and analysing internal processes that will ultimately aid in the fluid delivery of datasets to the internal business as well as the client
2. Work closely with key decision-makers.
3. Design and build data models.
4. Develop reports, visualizations, and custom ETL extracts using Microsoft SQL server tools.
5. Review data to improve accuracy, functionality, and consistency through the execution of BI validation processes and procedures.
6. Training operations teams on new data sources and processes.
7. Provide operational support, bug fixes, and performance enhancements on existing and legacy processes.
8. Develop and update technical documents.
9. Work with PMO in order to manage deadlines and expectations
10. Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems and implementing necessary changes where applicable.
11. Work with application developers to understand internal workings of in-house developed applications.
12. Be open to other technologies and drive innovation within the SA team.

Qualifications Required

1. IT Qualification would be an advantage.
2. Proven experience as a BI developer
3. 3+ years’ experience with MS SQL Server products (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
4. Excellent T-SQL skills
5. MS SQL Server 2012+ experience
6. SSIS and SSRS skills essential.
7. Programming experience (C# and Python would be advantages)
8. Basic understanding of network and server environment
