Intern Software Developer (Java) needed at IndSAfri

About the Role

• Indsafri is looking for a Software Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in Java, Python, SQL, and an opportunity to explore Salesforce integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java and Python applications
• Design and optimize SQL queries for data management and analytics
• Assist in Salesforce customization and integration (preferred but not mandatory)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
• Debug and improve existing applications for better performance and scalability
• Document technical findings and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge in Java, Python, and SQL
• Familiarity with Salesforce (preferred but not required)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and willingness to learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Certifications in: Java/Salesforce (advantageous)
• Hands-on experience through academic projects, hackathons, or personal coding initiatives
• Knowledge of cloud-based services and modern development tools (advantageous)
