Internal Auditor needed at Woodlands Dairy

 Key Performance Areas:

• The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of internal controls applicable to various business processes, especially the manufacturing and warehousing areas.  The primary responsibility will be to perform follow-up testing on issues reported by external and internal audit to ensure the necessary corrective action was taken.  This person will be required to: document their understanding of certain business processes and related document flows and controls in place for testing; compile a test plan; attend inventory counts and cycle counts on an ad hoc basis; follow up on discrepancies identified and prepare a report covering the area tested, errors found, recommended and agreed course of action, management commentary and the status and outcome of follow up testing performed.

Knowledge and Skills:

• The preferred candidate will have a matric qualification and a B.Com/B.Tech with Internal auditing/Auditing as a major subject.  The successful candidate must have thorough knowledge of internal controls, be able to communicate effectively – both in writing and verbally, computer literate in MS Excel and MS Word, have the ability to multitask, able to work in a focused systematic manner as part of a team and independently.
