Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric. (Grade 12)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal sales, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Engage with walk-in customers, providing product information and assistance to drive sales.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers.

Invoicing and Order Processing:

  • Generate accurate invoices and ensure all sales transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with the procurement team to replenish inventory as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations and tenders for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with external sales representatives to coordinate sales efforts and share customer insights.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss sales targets, strategies, and performance.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.
