Internship: Coordinator – Quality Controller needed at The South African Broadcasting Corporation

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Coordinate receipt, quality control, and ingestion of broadcast material
• Movement of material into the correct storage areas
• Retrieval and preparation of material as per client request and delivery via rapid file transfer systems, or elected delivery mechanism
• Arrange for relevant documentation for material delivery
• Ensure that content transcoding is performed as required and according to industry standards
• Report and escalation of rejected material and timeous requests for replacement material
• Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders and maintain an effective, professional interface all the time.

REQUIREMENTS

• National Diploma in Film and Television Production or Media Studies or related equivalent qualification (NQF 6)
• Project management will be advantageous
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ms Project
• Relationship building and teamwork
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and presentation.
• Entrepreneurial flair and lateral thinking abilities.
• Knowledge and understanding of broadcasting.
• Understanding of related policy
