About the Role

HR Interns gain hands-on experience managing employee lifecycle and compliance using platforms like SAP, Workday, and Salesforce, contributing to operational efficiency and risk management.

  • An opportunity exists for 5 unemployed learners to participate in an internship within the Human Resources field.  The project aims to provide the opportunity for unemployed learners who have successfully completed their IT and HR-related qualifications and to gain work experience in line with the qualifications.
  • The learner must be a graduate of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Information Technology and Human Resources or related qualification and will be based at the Life Healthcare Head office in Dunkeld, Johannesburg for a period of 12 months.

Critical Outputs

The internships entail the following:

The interns must specify one HR function they would like gain work experience from, and the functions are as follows: –

  • Payroll
  • HR Systems (Preferably IT qualification)
  • Skills Development
  • Organisational Development and Transformation
  • Resourcing/ Recruitment and Selection

The internship will be registered with HWSETA. Learners will receive a stipend of R 6,000 per month for 12 months.

Requirements

  • Learners must be unemployed to qualify for this project.
  • Learners interested in HR Systems must have completed an IT Diploma/Degree
  • Learners must have completed an HR Diploma/Degree
  • Only South African citizens under the age of 35 will be considered.
  • Learners must have completed their qualification to participate in this project.

Salary & Financial Insight
