Overall administration and Management of VKB Retail Holding’s inventory (Distribution Centres) as well as the full administrative function of import products.
Requirements
- Grade 12/ NQF 4
- Relevant qualification in International Trade/ Marketing/ Supply Chain Management will serve as recommendation.
- 3 5 Year’s proven experience in the overall administration of inventory (local and international) within the FMCG/ Retail environment
- Computer literate in MS Office with the ability to work on MS Excel on an advanced level.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall management of VKB Retail Holding’s inventory levels with specialisation in imports.
- Ensure timeous ordering of inventory according to lead times, taking into account external and international markets/ climate.
- Management of payment terms and deposits for payments; ensuring that terms are followed & closely monitored.
- Liaison with internal departments to ensure that the process for international terms and payments are adhered to.
- Be the point of contact for the VKB Group’s Distribution Centres regarding inventory levels and possible delays with imports.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for quotations and confirmations of orders.
- Assisting the Distribution Centre with follow-ups on outstanding orders.
- Reporting to relevant departments on the overall progress and possible challenges w.r.t inventory.
