Japanese International Host needed at Crew Life at Sea

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between Japanese-speaking guests and the rest of the crew
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
• Host events and activities for Japanese-speaking guests, such as cultural demonstrations and language classes
• Assist with translations and interpreting for guests and crew members as needed
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive light
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and crew members
• Assist with any other duties as assigned by the management team

Requirements:

• Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism
• Passion for travel and cultural exchange
• Must be able to commit to a full-time, 6-8 month contract at sea
