Junior Business Analyst needed at GBS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learning and Support: Assist senior analysts in planning efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Stakeholder Assistance: Support stakeholder engagement by assisting in gathering requirements and documenting expectations.
• Solution Assistance: Help create detailed requirements and specifications for business solutions under the guidance of senior analysts.
• Research Support: Conduct basic research and analysis to identify key metrics and improvement opportunities, with guidance from senior team members.
• Process Assistance: Assist in documenting and implementing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, under supervision.
• Agile Exposure: Learn about Agile methodologies and how they are applied in business analysis.
• Business Plan Support: Assist in the development and execution of business plans by providing support in data gathering and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Matric
• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/Information Systems, or a related field advantageous
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Junior Business Analyst
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Prior experience within the financial services industry advantageous
• Experience managing multiple projects and operational requests, with a strong understanding of Agile and/or waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Suites (VISIO), and Confluence
• Knowledge of BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) and its application
